Applications (along with 08 photocopies of the same) in the prescribed form of the University are invited from the intending eligible candidates as per UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of Teaching and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education 2018 dated 18th July, 2018 and its further modification as on last date of submission of application form for the following posts.

Dibrugarh University Recruitment 2023 Details

1. Professor

Educational Qualification:

• i) MA in Assamese / Sanskrit / Bengali /Hindi/Oriya/ English with good academic career provided that the candidates other than those who have done MA in Assamese must have proficiency in Assamese high standard
• ii) Publications on Comparative Literature or Equivalent research work
• iii) M. Tech. in Petroleum Technology or Petroleum Engineering / M.Sc. in Applied Geology with PG Diploma in Petroleum Technology / M. Sc in Physics with Advanced PG Diploma in Petroleum Exploration Geophysics.

Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 - 2,18,200/-

2. Associate Professor

Educational Qualifiation:

• Social and Cultural Anthropology
• Financial Economics / Industrial Economics
• Oil field exploration & development 

Pay: Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100/-

3. Assistant Professor

Educational Qualifiation:

• MA in English with M.Ed. and the ability to communicate in the Assamese language
• Biochemistry / Cell and Molecular Biology/Animal Physiology/Fish & Fisheries [M.Sc in Life Sciences (Zoology)/ M.Sc. Zoology]

Pay: Rs. 57,700 – 1,42,400/-

Bank Draft of Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) in favor of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam payable at Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code: 994000).
