Name of post: Administrative Officer (Generalists & Specialists)

Cadre: Scale-I
Pay Scale: Rs. 50,925 – 2,500 (14 increments) – 85,925 – 2,710 (4 increments) – 96,765
Educational Qualifications:
- Must be from a recognized University/Institution/Board approved by the Government of India, with results declared on or before 01.08.2025.
- For Specialist roles, specific qualifications are required (e.g., IT, Health, Risk Engineer, Actuarial). Refer to the syllabus for details (e.g., IT: Operating Systems, DBMS, Data Structures; Health: General Medicine, Anatomy; Actuarial: Probabilities, Data Interpretation).
- Candidates with CGPA must provide a certificate converting grades to percentages as per university norms.

Age Limit (as of 01.08.2025):
Minimum: 21 years (born on or after 02.08.1995)
Maximum: 30 years (born on or before 01.08.2004)
Age Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per government guidelines, with a maximum age limit of 45 years for eligible candidates.
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of three stages:
Phase-I: Preliminary Exam:
- Objective test, 100 marks, 60 minutes.
- Sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude.
- Separate timings for each section.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks required to proceed to Phase-II.
Phase-II: Main Exam:
- Objective (200 marks, 2.5 hours) + Descriptive (30 minutes, essays/letters).
- Objective sections vary by discipline (e.g., Generalists: General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude; Specialists: Additional technical/professional knowledge test).
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase-III: Interview:
- Conducted at select centers.
- Weightage: Main Exam (75%), Interview (25%).
- Includes group discussion and personal interview to assess communication skills and suitability
Application Fee (Non-Refundable):
- SC/ST/PwBD: Rs. 100/- (intimation charges only)
- All Other Categories: Rs. 850/- (application fee + intimation charges)
