Medical and Health Recruitment Board (MHRB), Assam has released a notification inviting online applications for 560 Medical & Health Officer-I (M&HO-I) or equivalent posts under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam.

Salary: Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 + Grade Pay ₹12,700, along with other applicable allowances under Assam Government rules.
Age Limit:
- Be between 21 and 38 years of age as on 01 January 2026.
- Upper-age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Have an MBBS degree from a recognized university.
- Be registered with the Assam Medical Council.
Application Fee:
- General: ₹250
- OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H): ₹150
- PwD candidates: No fee
The fee can be paid through Treasury Challan or GRAS. The fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure will be announced later by the Board. The selection method will depend on the number of applications received.
