The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the CRP RRBs XV notification for recruitment to Group A Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group B Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts across 28 participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in India.

Salary Details:
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Approx. ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Officer Scale I: Approx. ₹36,000 – ₹42,000 per month
- Officer Scale II: Approx. ₹48,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Officer Scale III: Approx. ₹55,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria of IBPS RRB Recruitment:
Nationality/Citizenship
- a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
- Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s
Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
- Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s.
Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer (Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II (Information Technology): Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc. One year of experience (in the relevant field).
Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant): Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. One year of experience as a Chartered Accountant.
Officer Scale-II (Law): Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Two years of experience as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years.
Officer Scale-II (Marketing): MBA in Marketing from a recognized university. One year of experience (in the relevant field).
Officer Scale-II (Treasury): Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution. One year of experience (in the relevant field).
Officer Scale-II (Agriculture): Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Two Years of experience (in the relevant field).
Officer Scale-III: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Language Proficiency:
Candidates applying for the Office Assistant post must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT where the respective RRB is located to be eligible for the interview.

- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1996 and later than 01.09.2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Officer Scale II: Above 21 years - Below 32 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1994 and later than 01.09.2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Officer Scale III: Above 21 years - Below 40 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1986 and later than 01.09.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
Selection Process:
- Office Assistant: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Final Allotment
- Officer Scale-I: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Interview → Final Selection
- Officer Scale-II & III: Single Online Examination → Interview → Final Selection
Examination Structure:
- Preliminary Exam: Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical Ability (45 minutes)
- Main/Single Exam: Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Language, and Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical Ability
- Interview (for Officers only): 100 marks, qualifying nature

7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
