Gauhati Medical College Vacancy Details:
1. Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)
Number of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 67,200 per month
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Educational Qualifications:
- First class postgraduate degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized university (including integrated PG degrees), OR
- Second class postgraduate degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology with a completed PhD
Desirable Qualifications:
- For M.Sc. holders: Minimum 3 years of work experience in a Medical Microbiology laboratory
- R&D experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology laboratory (Molecular and Immunological) for at least 2 years
- Research publications in indexed journals
2. Project Technical Support III
Number of Posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600 per month
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Educational Qualifications:
- Three-year graduate in Microbiology/Biotechnology with 3 years of experience, OR
- Postgraduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology
Desirable Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology preferred
- 3 years of experience working in a Microbiology laboratory with computer knowledge
