Name of Post: Assistant Professor (Contractual)

Discipline-wise vacancies:
- Anatomy: 1
- Paediatrics: 1
Salary: Rs. 1,42,506 per month.
Educational Qualification:
Medical Candidates (For General Disciplines):
- A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act).
- A postgraduate qualification, e.g., MD/MS, or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto
- in the respective discipline/subject.
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in
the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification
recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-Medical Candidates:
- Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the discipline/allied subject.
- A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in the concerned discipline.
Experience: Three years of teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.
Age Limit:
Maximum Age: 50 years as on the last date of application.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (OH-OL & BL): 10 years
- Government Servants: 5 years (as per DoPT instructions)
Application Fee:
Rs. 1,500 for Unreserved/OBC/EWS candidates, payable via Demand Draft drawn in favor of AIIMS Guwahati, payable at Guwahati.
