Job Description: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has invited online applications from eligible & intending candidates for the recruitment of 2,500 Apprentice vacancies in various trades/ disciplines from its operational areas at its location across 22 work centers.

Eligibility Criteria of ONGC Apprentice Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidate's age must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum 24 years as of 20.09.2023, i.e., the Date of Birth of the Candidate/Applicant should be between 20.09.1999 and 20.09.2005.

 

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification will be started from the 10th and educational qualification will be different according to the posts. Plz read the official advertisement details that we have provided end of this article.

Max. Allowed Location: A candidate is to choose and can apply for one trade at one work center/ Location only.

Duration: The duration of training is 12 months for all trades mentioned above.

 

Stipend:

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000/-
• Trade Apprentice Rs. 7,000/-
• Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000/-

How to Apply for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment?

Before applying for the above apprentice positions, candidates have to first register themselves in the online portals of the following agencies of Govt. of India:

(a) For Trade – Accounts Executive and Office Assistant: With National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ for Trade Accounts Executive and Office Assistant.

(b) For Trade Apprentices: With Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/

(c) For Technician Apprentices: With the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) in their portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
