Name of Post: District Technical Support Staff (DTSS)
No. of Posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 (Higher Secondary) pass from a recognized Board/Council
- Diploma in Information Technology (IT) from a recognized institution
- At least 1 year of working experience in the IT field in a Govt. Institute / Govt. Project / Mission under Govt.
Salary: Rs. 14000/- per month.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 41 years as on 1st January 2026.
- Relaxation: Up to 8 years for candidates serving in a similar position under any District Administration in Assam (valid documentary proof required)
Selection Process:
Tier-I: Written Examination:
- Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ) – 50 marks
Tier-II: Personal Interview & Computer Skill Test:
- Only candidates shortlisted from Tier-I (on a 1:15 basis) will be called
- Personal Interview: 25 marks
- Computer Skill Test: 25 marks
- Additional Marks: 2 marks per completed year of service (max 16 marks) for candidates serving in a similar position under any District Administration in Assam
How to Apply?
Eligible candidates must submit the Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX) along with self-attested copies of required documents in the Drop Box at the Office of the District Commissioner, Goalpara, Assam. Applications can be submitted from 20 August to 5 September 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).
