Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience:
- Assistant Professor Grade II (7th CPC Pay level 10 & 11): Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph. D. teaching/research/industrial experience are considered for this post.
- Assistant Professor Grade I (7th CPC Pay level 12): Candidates with at least 3 years of post-PhD teaching/ research/ industrial experience may be considered for this post.
Salary and Benefits: Pay and allowances will be as per the Government of India rules, with positions at 7th CPC Pay Levels 10, 11, and 12.
Age Limit:
Candidates should preferably be below 35 years of age as on the date of advertisement. Age relaxation applies as per Government of India norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 5 years (10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC-NCL candidates)
