Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) has recently published an employment notification for the recruitment of 11 Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate Vacancies in the Defence Institute of Psychological Research.

1. JRF
No. of posts: 10
Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- P.M. 1st and 2nd year. Rs. 42,000/ - p.m. 3rd Year if retained as JRF. Rs. 37,000/- p.m. during the entire tenure, if extended. The I-IRA shall be admissible as per govt rules. Contingency grant upto a maximum of Rs. 15,000/- per annum for 2 years. The contingency grant will be increased to Rs.20,000/- per annum for the subsequent years.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduation in Psychology / Applied Psychology (Specialization in Organisation Behaviour / Social Psychology/ Personality Assessment) with first division AND NET qualification.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India orders).
2. RA
No. of posts: 1
Stipend: Rs. 67,000/- P.M. during the entire tenure. The HRA shall be admissible as per govt rules. Contingency grant upto a maximum of Rs.20,000/- per annum during the entire tenure.
Essential Qualification: PhD in Psychology
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxable by 5 Years for SUST & 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India orders )
