1. Head of the Department (Rank of Professor in Education / Associate Professor in Education)
No. of posts: 01
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in Science or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Commerce or Languages.
- M.Ed.
- Ph.D. in Education.
- Ten Years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution as a Professor and Eight Years for Associate Professor.
- Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the University Grants Commission for these categories of posts.
2. Assistant professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy

Discipline wise vacancies:
- History: 01
- Geography: 01
- Political Science: 01
- Economics: 01
- Assamese / English: 01
- Communicative Skill in English: 01
- Communicative Skill in MIL/Classical Languages: 01
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in concerned subjects with minimum 55% marks.
- B.Ed. degree with a minimum 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/PhD in concerned subjects as prescribed by the UGC/NCTE.
3. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies

- Post Graduate degree in Education (M.Ed.), with a Minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

4. Instructor (Part-time)- Health & Physical Education

- Master of Physical Education (MP. Ed) with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
