Name of post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Funding Agency: Department of Science & Technology (National Geospatial Programme)
Duration: 3 years (purely temporary, co-terminus with the project)
Salary: ₹37,000 + HRA (first two years) | ₹42,000 + HRA (third year)
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:
- MSc/MTech/MSc. Tech in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology, Applied Geology, Seismology, or Computational Seismology.
- OR MSc in Physics, Atmospheric Physics, or Computational Physics.
Desirable Skills:
- Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Knowledge of GNSS and GRACE-FO data
- Strong mathematical skills
- Programming experience in Python or MATLAB
