IIT Guwahati has released a notification inviting applications for multiple project-based positions under the North Eastern Science and Technology (NEST) Cluster. Interested and eligible candidates must appear for an interview on 5th August 2026.

Salary: Rs. 23,198/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech/ MSc/MCA
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in web development or a related field for at least 1 year.

2. JRF (GATE) V2
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 44,910/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree/ Advance degree in the relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/Data Science, Civil engineering/ MCA.
- Valid NET/GATE score required.
- Preference will be given to experienced candidates.
3. JRF (GATE) V1
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 44,910/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Grass Root Technology/ Rural Technology/ Biotechnology/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engg/ Basic Science and allied field.
- Valid NET/GATE score required.
- Preference will be given to experienced candidates
4. JRF (GATE) V4

Educational Qualification:

5. CA / CS / Accountant
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 44910/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Be a qualified Chattered Accountant/M.Com.
- Have minimum 2 years of core experience in indirect Taxes particularly in GST in running a company.
- Practical experience of handling startup business impact assessment and IT impact assessment preferred.
- Experience in accounting
6. Business Development Officer
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 42,550/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's/Master's/ MBA/PhD degree.
- Experience in handling HR functions/ Business administration/ Organization Development in project environments for atleast 2 years.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing and conducting online and offline training programs
- Preference will be given to experienced candidates
7. Technical Assistant
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 18950/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc / B.A/ B.Com -Multimedia and animation work experience in Photoshop and illustrator will be given preference.
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Print and Web publishing
- Expert in social media handling
- Computer knowledge is essential.
8. Office Assistant

Educational Qualification:
