Directorate of Sericulture, Assam has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 03 Weavers / Reelers Vacancy.

As a part of the scheme, the RSTRS CSB Khanapara informed DOS Assam to select 3(three) Master
Weavers/Reelers for Assam vide letter No. RSTRS/CSTRI/CSB/GHY/2025-26/MW-MR(Silk Samagra)/47, dt.08-
05. 2025, and for the execution of its activities, the Directorate of Sericulture, Assam, is holding a walk-in interview
for the selection of a Master Weaver/Reeler to be engaged in the Common Facility Centres/Reeling units of Assam on a contractual basis for 10(ten) months w.e.f. 2/6/2025 to 31/3/2026.

Name of post: Master Weavers / Reelers
No. of posts: 3
Educational qualification: 8th standard. & above.
Experience: 2-3 years in Silk reeling, weaving and also wet processing etc. Teaching skills also necessary to demonstrate above activities.
Salary: Rs. 21,000/- per month
Age Limit: 21 years and above

The candidates shall be selected by the Selection Committee based on educational
qualification, practical test, interview, prior experience in the respective field, and any other aspect required to
be conducted/assessed by the Committee. Interested candidates may attend the interview to be held on 30th
