The Central Selection Board (CSB), The Directorate of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, Assam, has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 157 Forester & Forest Guard Vacancies under Forest Department, BTC .

1. Forester-I
Number of Vacancies: 47 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-2 ₹14,000 – ₹49,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200/-
Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
2. Forest Guard
Number of Vacancies: 110 Posts
Pay Scale: PB-2 ₹14,000 – ₹49,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,600/-
Educational Qualification: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed
Age Limit:
18 to 40 years as on 1st January 2026
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC Candidates: 3 years
Physical Standard Requirements:
✅General Category
- Male: 163 cm
- Female: 153 cm
✅ Scheduled Tribe (P) Category
- Male: 153 cm
- Female: 145 cm
Chest Requirements (for Male candidates only):
- Normal: 79 cm
- Expanded: 84 cm
Other Eligibility Criteria:
Residence-ship: Candidates must be resident of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) area. Candidates belonging to newly added 60 villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur districts under BTC’s Udalguri District under BTC area are also eligible to apply for above mentioned posts.
Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered their names in any employment exchange of Assam.
Application Fees:
- General / OBC / MOBC: ₹150/-
- SC / ST: ₹100/-
- Mode of Payment: Online mode only (UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking). No other mode of payment will be accepted.
