Remuneration: An honorarium of ₹9,000/- (Nine Thousand) per month.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed the HSLC (Class 10) examination.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025): Minimum 30 years and Maximum 65 years.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the village or village lot for which the application is being made.
- Employment: Must NOT be a government employee.
- Political Affiliation: Must NOT be a member of any political party.
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Must not have any pending electricity bills in their name.
- Must not be an accused in any court case.
- Only one member from a family can apply. Other family members must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Selection Process:
1. Selection will be based on an interview.
2. Candidates will be evaluated on a 50-point scale based on criteria like:
- Leadership ability
- Physical capability
- Integrity, behavior, and generosity
- Being a family member of a former Gaon Pradhan
- General knowledge of village head duties
How to Apply:
1. Application Form: Obtain the application form from the Notice Board of the Circle Office, Jalukbari Revenue Circle, or download it from here
2. Submission: Duly filled application forms along with all required supporting documents and 3 (three) passport-sized photographs must be submitted in person at the Circle Office during office hours.
3. Deadline: Applications must be submitted between 18th September 2025 and 10th October 2025. No applications will be accepted after this date.
