The Centre of Plasma Physics – Institute for Plasma Research (CPP-IPR), a premier institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of 02 Project Scientific Officers on a contractual basis.

1. Project Scientific Officer (Electrical)
No of Posts: 1 Post
Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum 60% marks from an AICTE-recognized institution.
Desirable: 3 years of post-qualification experience in:
- Operation & maintenance of 33kV substations, LT power distribution
- Electrical construction projects (LT/HT lines, internal wiring, underground cabling)
- Quality assurance & control, contract management, tender preparation
- Handling government projects, knowledge of CPWD rules
2. Project Scientific Officer (IT)
No of Posts: 1 Post
Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT OR M.Sc in CS/IT OR MCA with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Desirable: 3 years of post-qualification experience in:
- Managing campus LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and internet connectivity
- Linux OS and server administration
- Installing & managing research/analytical software
- IT hardware maintenance, CCTV, video conferencing systems
- IT support for events, vendor coordination, and procurement processes
Salary:
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹56,000/- + HRA (as per institute rules)
- Medical Facility: Available for self only as per DAE CHSS rules
Age Limit (as of 01-10-2025):
Maximum Age: 40 years for the General category
Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.
