Age Limit: 21 years.
Pay Scale: The work of PLVs does not carry any salary, remuneration, or wage except an honorarium fixed from time to time, as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicant should pass minimum matriculation with a capacity for overall comprehension and should have mindset to assist the needy in society coupled with compassion, empathy and concern for upliftment of marginalized and weaker sections of society.
- Preferably the PLVs selection from those who do not look up to the income they derive from their services as PLVs, but should have a mindset to assist the needy in society. Preference to candidates who have proficiency in driving (four wheelers), and proficiency in computers (MS Office).
How to Apply:
Applicants must submit the filled application form with self-attested documents in a sealed envelope and deposit it in the designated “DROP BOX” at the District & Sessions Judges’ Court, 4th Floor, Judicial Court Building, Nagaon. The envelope should be addressed to “The District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Nagaon, Assam, PIN-782001” and must reach the office by 5:00 PM on 25 August 2026.
