Pay Scale: ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 + Grade Pay ₹3,900 (PB-1)

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed Class VIII
• Must NOT have cleared HSSLC (Higher Secondary/Class 12) or any higher exam
• Overqualified candidates will be disqualified, and false declarations may lead to criminal prosecution

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: As per Government of Assam rules (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per norms)

How to Apply:

1. Use the Standard Application Form (from Assam Gazette Part-IX)

2. Fill it in block letters using black or blue ballpoint pen

3. Paste 1 recent passport-size colour photo on the form and enclose 2 additional copies

4. Attach self-attested copies of:

• Age certificate
• Educational qualification
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Employment Exchange Registration number
• Self-declaration affidavit stating you have NOT passed HSSLC

5. Government employees must apply through proper channel and include a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
