Indian Army has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of Agniveer GD (Women Military Police) Vacancy under the Agnipath Scheme across the country. Applications are thereby invited from the domiciles/UT of all seven states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura & Meghalaya.

Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 17.5 and 22 years old. This means you should have been born between July 1, 2005, and July 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit can be extended up to 30 years for widows of defense personnel who died while serving.
Educational Qualification:
You need to have passed Class 10th or Matriculation with at least 45% marks in aggregate across five basic subjects, with a minimum of 33% in each of those five subjects. If your board follows a grading system, equivalent grades will be considered.
Special provision for Indian Gorkhas: They only need a simple Class 10th pass without the percentage requirement.
Widow Women: Women who are widowed, divorced or legally separated are also eligible provided they do not have any children, subject to fulfilling all other eligibility criteria.
Physical Standards of Indian Army Female Agniveer Recruitment:
The basic physical requirements are:
- Height: 162 centimeters (with special relaxations available)
- Weight: Must be proportionate to your height and age according to Army medical standards
- Chest Expansion: You should be capable of expanding your chest by at least 5 centimeters
Special Physical Standards: Candidates belonging to the following regions will be given 4 cms height relaxation:
- (a) North East Region: Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam.
- (b) Gorkhas.
- (c) Garhwalis.
- (d) Ladakhis.
- (e) Tribals of recognized tribal areas.

Examination Fee:
