Age Limit: Up to 55 years.
Educational Qualification:
- A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale whenever grading system is possible) from a recognised University.
- A Ph.D Degree in concerned /allied / relevant discipline(s) in the institutions concerned with evidence of published work.
- Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research Administration in University/Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education.
- A minimum score as given in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal in Appendix III for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges
- A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed / UGC approved / Care listed journals (must attach self-attested valid supporting documents)
- A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix-I at Table 2 (UGC Guideline dated 18-07-2018)
- A relaxation of 5% at the graduate and master’s level for the Scheduled Caste / Schedule Tribe / Differently abled (Physically and visually differently abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is possible) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories as given above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.
- A relaxation of 5% to the Ph.D Degree holders who have got their Master’s Degrees prior to 19th September, 1991

Candidates must submit the DHE Assam prescribed application form, complete bio-data, self-attested testimonials, and a non-refundable ₹5,000 Demand Draft in favour of FA Ahmed College to the President, Governing Body, FA Ahmed College, on or before 20th June 2026.
