NERIWALM Tezpur Vacancy Details:
Name of Post: Young Professional (Project)
No of Posts: 02
Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand) per month.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc./MA) in Water Resources Engineering, Water Resources Management, Civil Engineering (with specialization in Water Resources, Hydraulics or Irrigation), Environmental Science, Social Science (Sociology/Social Works/Political Science/Economics/ Geography), Geo informatics from a recognized University/Institute, with a consistently good academic record.
- A minimum of six (06) months of work experience in relevant fields.
Desirable:
- Experience in water resources management, irrigation systems, hydraulic structures, watershed management or related fields.
- Experience in socio-economic surveys, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), community-based water management, institutional assessment or livelihood studies.
- Knowledge of GIS, remote sensing, field data collection and spatial analysis.
- Familiarity with environmental assessment, water quality assessment and relevant standards.
- Good report-writing, data analysis and documentation skills.
- Ability to undertake field visits and interact with community institutions and stakeholders.
Age Limit: Should be between 21–35 years as on the last date of submission of application.
