The National Institute of Design (NID), Assam, has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 05 Administrative & Technical posts.
NID Assam Vacancy Details:
1. Senior Assistant (Finance & Accounts)
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 74,000/- per month approx.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. Proficiencies in computers and uses of utilities, software, etc.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, as on the last date of application
2. Associate Senior Design Instructor
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 93,000/- per month approx.
Educational Qualification:
- A Degree in the relevant discipline/subject from a recognized institution with 4 (Four) years’ post qualification experience in the relevant field
- Diploma holder in the relevant field with 6 (Six) years’ post qualification experience in the relevant field
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, as on the last date of application
3. Design Instructor
No of Posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 74,000/- per month approx.
Educational Qualification:
- 3-year Diploma in relevant discipline/area/ subject from a recognized institution with 4(Four) years post-qualification experience in the relevant industry/educational institution
- A Degree in a relevant area/ subject from a recognized Institution with 2 (two) years post-qualification experience in the relevant industry/ institution
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, as on the last date of application
4. Technical Instructor
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 74,000/- per month approx.
Educational Qualification:
- 3-year Diploma in relevant area/ subject from a recognised institution. With 4(Four) years post-qualification experience in the relevant industry/educational institution
- A Degree in relevant area/ subject from a recognised Institution with 2(two) years post qualification experience in the relevant industry/ institution
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

For Technical Posts (Level 6 & 7):
