NIT Silchar Vacancy Details:
Name of Post: Project Associate-I
No of Posts: 01
Salary: ₹37,000 per month for GATE/NET qualified candidates; ₹30,000 per month for others. HRA @10% is admissible if Institute accommodation is not provided.
Educational Qualification: Minimum B.Tech/B.E. in ECE, CSE, EE, or E&I from a recognized university.
Desirable Experience: A solid understanding of digital communication, probability theory, optimization, and wireless communications. Experience with programming languages like MATLAB or Python is crucial.
Age Limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application (13.11.2026). Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
