TISS Recruitment 2026:
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 16 Registrar, Librarian, Manager, Programmer, Coordinator, Counsellor, and Officer posts.
TISS Vacancy Details:
1. Deputy Registrar
No of Posts: 02
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree with 55% marks + 9 years experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 10 and above OR 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar in Pay Level 10.
Age limit: Up to 50 years.
2. Deputy Librarian
No of Posts: 01
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with 55% marks + 8 years experience as Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian + Ph.D. in relevant field.
Age limit: Up to 50 years.
3. Assistant Librarian
No of Posts: 01
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with 55% marks + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
Age limit: Up tp 40 years.
4. Assistant Registrar
No of Posts: 03
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree with 55% marks. Desirable: 5 years supervisory experience in Pay Level 7.
Age limit: Up to 45 years.
5. Assistant Manager (Publication)
No of Posts: 01
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Social Sciences with 55% marks + 10 years experience + 7 years experience in publishing or public relations.
Age limit: Up to 45 years.
6. System Analyst-cum-Programmer

Educational Qualification: First class M.E./M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT with 2–3 years relevant experience.
Age limit: Up to 45 years.
7. Health Officer

Educational Qualification: MBBS recognized by MCI + registered with MCI/State Medical Council + 3 years experience.

8. Field Work Coordinator

11. Section Officer (Security)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree + 5 years experience as Security Supervisor OR Ex-serviceman at JCO level or above + valid driving license.
Age limit: Up to 40 years.
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules. Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for candidates with at least 3 years regular service in Central/State Govt/Central Universities.

All educational certificates, mark sheets, photograph, and signature must be uploaded. Candidates already in service with Central/State Govt/PSU must submit a Vigilance Clearance Certificate and No Objection Certificate at the time of the written test/interview.
