India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), a 100% Government of India undertaking under the Department of Posts, has released a major recruitment notification for the post of Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a contractual leadership role based at the bank’s Corporate Office in New Delhi.

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Remuneration: The selected candidate will be offered a competitive, market-aligned salary package commensurate with experience, qualifications, and current remuneration.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Full-time Regular Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks from a government-recognized university or institute.
- MBA, PGDM, PGDBM, or PGDBA in Finance; Post Graduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Econometrics. Certifications in Data Analytics or Data Governance are a plus.
- CAIIB, FRM, PRM, CAMS, CIA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, and Risk in Financial Services (CISI).
- At least 18 years of experience in banks or financial institutions.
- Out of this, minimum 10 years must be specifically in handling operations or business processes.
- In the last five years, the candidate must have held a position no more than two levels below the MD & CEO of a public or private sector bank/financial institution for at least two years.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 40 years
- Maximum: Below 55 years
