Educational Qualifications
For Warden cum Superintendent: Candidates must possess a Master's Degree with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized university and Higher Secondary TET qualification. For Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates, non-TET candidates can apply as per eligibility criteria.
For Full Time Teachers: Master's Degree in the relevant subject specific area along with B.Ed from a recognized university and Higher Secondary TET qualification is mandatory.
For Part Time Assistant Teacher: Candidates need a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed and Higher Secondary TET qualification. In absence of TET qualified candidates, others may apply as per eligibility norms.
Salary Structure:
The remuneration varies based on TET qualification status:
- Warden cum Superintendent: Rs. 25,000 monthly for HS TET qualified candidates; Rs. 20,000 monthly for non-TET qualified candidates
- Full Time Assistant Teachers: Rs. 25,000 monthly for TET qualified candidates; Rs. 20,000 monthly for non-TET qualified candidates
- Part Time Assistant Teacher: Rs. 18,000 monthly
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit is 45 years. However, significant age relaxations are available for reserved category candidates.
Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), ST(H) (Scheduled Tribe Hills), OBC (Other Backward Classes), and PH (Physically Handicapped) candidates for five years as per government norms.
For Assam Olchiki Medium candidates, relaxation of upper age limit is available as per applicable government guidelines ensuring inclusive opportunities.
Important Note: Non-TET candidates must qualify Higher Secondary TET within three consecutive TET examinations after appointment. This is mandatory for continuation in service.
How to Apply:
The application process is completely offline, requiring candidates to submit physical applications by post.
Candidates must apply in plain paper clearly stating the post applied for, applicant's name, father's name or husband's name, nationality, category (whether SC/ST/OBC/PH/General), date of birth, permanent address with contact number, and whether from BTAD/OGS or ST(P)/ST(H) areas.
Document Requirements: The application should include all relevant self-attested documents proving educational qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificates if applicable, and one recent passport-size photograph in a sealed envelope.
Sending Address: Applications must be sent by post only to the Office of District Mission Co-ordinator, Samagra Siksha Abhijan (SSA), Dibrugarh, on or before December 6, 2025. Any postal delay will not be entertained, so candidates should post well in advance.
The envelope must be superscribed with "Application for the post of _________ at KGBV" to ensure proper categorization.
