Applicability: Only one dependent family member of Assam Rifles personnel is eligible if the personnel was:
Killed in Action:
- Died while in Service
- Discharged on Medical Grounds
- Missing while in Service
The following constitute dependent family members:-
- (a) Spouse, or
- (b) Son (including adopted son), or
- (c) Daughter (including adopted daughter), or
- (d) Brother or sister in the case of an unmarried Govt employee who was wholly dependent on him at the time of death in harness or retirement on medical grounds, as the case may be.
Age Limit:
The age of the candidates should be between 18 and 23 years. More details will be available once the detailed official notification is released.
