Age Limit: The candidates must not be less than 30 years and not more than 65 years of age as on 1st January 2025.
Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/ she seeks appointment.
Property: Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
Children: Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/ multiple partner.
Government Employee: The candidate should not be a government employee.
Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.
Physical Fitness: Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.
Insolvency: Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues.
Social Status: Candidate should be a person of high Status and command and have a respectable position in the society.
Essential Qualification:
The candidate must have passed 10th standard or matriculation from a recognized institution or board.

How to Apply for DC Jorhat Recruitment 2025?
Interested and suitable candidates who have fulfilled the above-mentioned eligibility criteria have to submit their application at the office of the District Commissioner, Jorhat.
Required Documents:
- PAN Card
- Voter Id Card
- 3 passport sized photograph.
- Permanent Resident-ship Certificate.
- Copies of all educational certificates, Mark sheets, Admit Card of HSLC/ Age proof certificate.
- Govt. dues and Bakijai clearance certificate.
- Documents relating to land property in his/ her name.
- The Applicant should furnish an affidavit that he/ she has not more than 2(two) living children from a Single or multiple partners.
