Airports Authority of India, Regional Headquarters, North Eastern Region (AAI NER) has recently invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates who are domiciled in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura for the position of Senior Assistant (Electronics), Junior Assistant (HR) and Junior Assistant (Fire Services) for its various airports in North Eastern Region.

1. Senior Assistant (Electronics)
No of Posts: 05
Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Pay Scale: ₹36,000 – ₹1,10,000 (Level NE-6)
2. Junior Assistant (HR)
No of Posts: 02
Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline
Pay Scale: ₹31,000 – ₹92,000 (Level NE-4)
Additional Requirement: Must pass a qualifying Computer Literacy Test in MS Office
3. Junior Assistant (Fire Services)
No of Posts: 07
Qualification:
- Option A: 10th pass + 3-year regular diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire Engineering
- Option B: 12th pass (regular study)
Physical Standards: Strict medical and physical fitness criteria apply, including vision, hearing, height, weight, and endurance tests. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are not eligible for this post due to the physically demanding nature of fire service duties.
Age Limit (as on 06 December 2025):
- General: 18 to 30 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. of India norms
- Ex-Agniveers: +3 years (first batch gets +5 years)
- Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35–40 years (depending on category)
Application Fee:
₹1,000 for General/EWS/OBC; No fee for SC/ST/Women/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen
