The Airports Authority of India (AAI), North Eastern Region (NER), a premier Miniratna Category-1 public sector enterprise, has released a significant recruitment notification for its North Eastern Region (NER) headquarters in Guwahati. This initiative aims to engage Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Trade Apprentices for a one-year training program across various airports in the North Eastern states for the year 2026-27.

Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentices: Must possess a full-time (regular) 4-year degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Electronics/IT/CS, or Mechanical) recognized by AICTE.
- Diploma Apprentices: Must possess a full-time (regular) 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant streams, recognized by AICTE.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in trades like Fitter, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), or Electrician, from AICTE-recognized institutions.
Age Limit:
The age limit for applicants is 18 to 26 years as of 28 July 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
Salary: Graduate Apprentices will receive ₹15,000, Diploma Apprentices will receive ₹12,000, and ITI Trade Apprentices will receive ₹9,600.
