Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited ONLINE applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of Member of the Assam State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Non-Judicial) and Member of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission across various districts in Assam.

Post Name & No of Posts:
- Member of the Assam State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Non-Judicial): 1
- Member of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission: 34
Pay Scale: PB-4, Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 17500/-
Age Limit:
- For State Commission Member: Minimum 40 years.
- For District Commission Member: Minimum 35 years.
Age proof must be provided via Class X/XII Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet only.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in regular mode from a UGC-recognised institution. Degrees obtained through distance mode are not eligible.
Required Experience:
- Applicants must have at least 10 years of professional experience in fields such as:
- Consumer Affairs, Law, Public Affairs, Administration
- Economics, Commerce, Industry, Finance, Management
- Engineering, Technology, Public Health, or Medicine
Candidates must submit relevant experience certificates, such as Bar Council registration for lawyers or employer certificates for professionals.
Application Fees:
- General Candidates: ₹297.20 (includes ₹250 fee + ₹47.20 processing charge)
- OBC/MOBC Candidates: ₹197.20 (includes ₹150 fee + ₹47.20 processing charge)
- SC/ST/BPL/PwBD Candidates: ₹47.20 (processing charge only)
Payment Note: Fees are non-refundable. Candidates can pay online or through Common Service Centres (CSCs).
