1. Graduate Engineer – Grade A
No. of Posts: 360
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline from an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC.
- For General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are generally 65%, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates require 55% marks.

Salary: Grade A candidates will receive an initial basic pay of ₹50,000 per month. The pay scale is ₹50,000–₹1,60,000 and the approximate CTC is ₹18.4 lakh per annum.
2. Officer (Marketing) – Grade A

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a 2-year full-time regular MBA or PG Diploma in Business Administration equivalent to MBA, with specialization in Marketing Management.
- The minimum marks required are 60% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 1 July 2026.
Experience: No prior work experience is specified for this post.
Salary: Grade A candidates will receive ₹50,000 basic pay per month, with a pay scale of ₹50,000–₹1,60,000 and approximate CTC of ₹18.4 lakh per annum.
3. Law Officer – Grade A
No. of Posts: 10
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have either:
- A Graduate Degree in any discipline along with an LLB degree, or
- A 5-year Integrated LLB degree.
- Candidates must generally have 60% marks in the prescribed qualifications for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The LLB degree must be recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 1 July 2026.
Experience: Candidates must have at least 2 years of post-qualification professional experience as on 30 June 2026.
Relevant experience may include legal work as an advocate, in a law firm, or in private/public sector or Central/State Government organizations handling legal functions.
Salary: Grade A candidates will receive ₹50,000 basic pay per month, with an approximate CTC of ₹18.4 lakh per annum.
4. Assistant Quality Control Officer – Grade A0

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a relevant full-time regular Master's Degree in Chemistry or specified Chemistry disciplines such as Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry.
- The minimum marks required are 60% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 1 July 2026.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in testing, R&D or quality control in petroleum, petrochemical, polymer or fertilizer laboratories, or qualifying experience in an NABL-accredited laboratory under the specified chemical testing scope.
Salary: Grade A0 candidates will receive an initial basic pay of ₹40,000 per month, with a pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 and approximate CTC of ₹14.8 lakh per annum.
5. Diploma Engineer – Grade E0
No. of Posts: 50
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a 3-year full-time regular Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline from an institution recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Board.
- The eligible disciplines include Electrical, Mechanical, Safety and other disciplines specified in the official notification.
- The minimum qualifying marks are 65% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Age Limit: Maximum 26 years as on 1 July 2026.
Experience: No post-qualification experience is prescribed for the Diploma Engineer posts.
Salary: Grade E0 candidates will receive an initial basic pay of ₹30,000 per month, with a pay scale of ₹30,000–₹1,20,000 and approximate CTC of ₹11.1 lakh per annum.
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation is available to eligible OBC(NCL), SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories as per Government of India rules. Candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation must possess valid supporting certificates.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from the application fee. Other eligible candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee along with applicable GST and transaction charges.
Selection Process of IOCL Executive Vacancy:
The IOCL Executive recruitment selection process consists of:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Group Task (GT)
- Personal Interview (PI)
The CBT contains 100 objective-type questions. General Aptitude covers Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English Language, while the remaining questions test the candidate's domain knowledge. There is a 0.25-mark negative marking for every wrong answer.
