- Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL): 156 seats (Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, West Bengal)
- Western Region Pipelines (WRPL): 152 seats (Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan)
- Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL): 97 seats (Delhi, Haryana, HP, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Uttarakhand)
- Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL): 47 seats (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu)
- South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL): 85 seats (Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana)

Duration: 12 months from the date of engagement.
Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and the Corporations guidelines.
Name of trades/s: Technician Apprentice (Mechanical), Technician Apprentice (Electrical), Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation), Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource), Trade Apprentice (Accountant), Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices) & Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders).
Educational Qualification:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Full-time Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engg.
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engg.
- Technician Apprentice (Telecom & Inst..): Full-time Diploma in ECE, ETE, Instrumentation & Control, etc.
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR): Full-time Graduation in any discipline
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-time B.Com degree
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass (but below Graduate)
- Domestic Data Entry Operator: 12th Pass + Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’
Age Limit:
- 18 to 24 years as of August 31, 2025. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD candidates as per govt. norms.
Selection Process:
No Exam, Pure Merit!
- The selection is 100% merit-based. There will be no written test or interview.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks in the essential qualifying exam (Diploma/Graduation/12th).
- In case of a tie, the candidate older in age (earlier date of birth) will be ranked higher.

Step 1: Register on Govt. Portal (By Sept 18, 2025)
- For Data Entry Operator: Register on the NAPS Portal - https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- For All Other Trades (Technician/HR/Accountant): Register on the NATS Portal - https://nats.education.gov.in
Step 2: Apply on IOCL Portal (By Sept 18, 2025)
- After completing Step 1, you MUST apply on the IOCL Pipelines portal: https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/
- Use the same email and mobile number you used on the govt. portal.
- Keep scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and documents ready for upload.
Important Documents Required:
- Keep these documents ready for the application and subsequent verification:
- Class 10th certificate (for age proof)
- Diploma/Degree/12th Mark Sheets & Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- PwBD Certificate (in the prescribed format)
