Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has recently invited applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruit 394 Junior Engineering Assistant and Junior Quality Control Analyst across its nine refineries and petrochemical units.

Educational Qualification:
⏺ Production, P&U, Quality Control:
- 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering streams OR
- B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, or Industrial Chemistry with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
⏺ Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation:
- 3-year Diploma in respective fields with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
⏺ Fire & Safety:
- 10+2 pass with Sub-Officer’s Course from NFSC Nagpur + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
- Physical standards: Min height 165 cm, chest 81–86 cm, weight ≥50 kg (relaxations apply for some regions)
Age Limit:
- General/EWS: 18–26 years
- SC/ST: Up to 31 years
- OBC (NCL): Up to 29 years
- PwBD: Up to 36 years (GEN) or 41 years (SC/ST) for posts 204–207 only
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt of India norms
Pay & Perks:
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹25,000 – ₹1,05,000, along with benefits such as:
- DA, HRA or company housing

Selection Process:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 100 MCQs (120 mins):
- 75 marks: Subject Knowledge
- 15 marks: Numerical Ability
- 10 marks: General Awareness
- No negative marking
2. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) – Qualifying in nature
Final merit list will be refinery-wise, based on CBT scores only for candidates who clear SPPT. Tie-breaker: seniority in age.
