Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended), and the Corporation’s guidelines.

✅ Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)

- Qualification: B.Sc with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry

✅ Trade Apprentice – Boiler

- Qualification: B.Sc with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry
- Training Period: 24 months
- Locations: Digboi, Guwahati, Bongaigaon
✅ Technician Apprentice – Chemical
Code: 104
- Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering
- Training Period: 12 months
- Locations: Digboi, Guwahati, Bongaigaon
✅ Technician Apprentice – Mechanical

- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Training Period: 12 months
- Location: Bongaigaon Refinery only

- Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation and Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
- Training Period: 12 months
- Locations: Digboi, Guwahati, Bongaigaon
Age Limit:
- General/EWS: 18 to 24 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 18 to 27 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 29 years
- PwBD: Up to 34 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST-PwBD and 3 years for OBC-PwBD)
📌 Only Matriculation (Class X) certificate is accepted as proof of date of birth.

- Register on NAPS Portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Select Apprenticeship Opportunities
- Search location as per IOCL Refinery Unit
- Select respective trade and complete registration
For Trade Codes 104, 105, and 107 (Technician Apprentice):
- Register on NATS Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
- Complete registration on Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) portal
- Apply to the advertisement notified by the respective IOCL Refinery Unit

Step 2: Fill Microsoft/Google Form (Mandatory)
After successfully applying on the respective portal:
- Visit www.iocl.com
- Go to the 'What's New' section
- Click on "Engagement of Apprentices" for your chosen Refinery Unit
- Click on "Click here to submit additional information on Microsoft Form"
- Fill the form with accurate details
- Use the same email ID and Mobile Number as used in NAPS/NATS portal
⚠️ Both Step 1 AND Step 2 are COMPULSORY. Incomplete applications or applications not fulfilling eligibility criteria will be treated as REJECTED.
