1. Assistant Professor
No of Posts: 02
Age Limit: As per TISS norms
Salary: Rs. 57,700/- per month (Academic Pay Level 10 as per 7th CPC)
Educational Qualification:
- Master's degree with 55% marks in MA in Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History or other related subjects from an Indian University or equivalent from a foreign university
- Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET, OR have a PhD degree with the conditions mentioned above
- PhD from a top 500 foreign university/institution (QS, THE, or ARWU)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Ability to teach papers related to violence, memory, territoriality, nation-state, and border conflicts
- PhD in relevant field with two or more years of teaching experience
- Research experience on Northeast India and its transnational neighbourhood
- Ability to teach interdisciplinary courses
- Good research and publication track record
- Ability to supervise Bachelor's and Master's students
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
2. Boy’s Hostel Caretaker
No of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Up to 45 years.
Salary: Rs. 14,500/-
Educational Qualification: Class 12th/HS Passed.
Desirable Qualification:
- Minimum one year work experience in the same field is desirable.
- Good communication skill in English and Hindi
- Candidates with basic knowledge of Computer with words, excel will have an added advantage.
