Assam Inland Water Transport Development (AIWTD) Society has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of Project Manager- Technical Vacancy.
A walk-in interview will be held on the date and venue mentioned below at the office of Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society (AIWTDS) to select a candidate to be engaged purely on a contractual basis for the position of “Project Manager—Technical” under the AIWTD Project.

The ‘Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society’ under the Transport Department,
Government of Assam is implementing the Assam Inland Water Transport Project with financing from
the World Bank. The project aims to transform the quality of inland water transport services and integrate
high quality passenger and vehicle ferry services into Assam’s wider transport network.

Name of post: Project Manager- Technical
No. of posts: 1
Remuneration: Consolidated Remuneration will be up to Rs. 1,50,000/- per month or 20% hike on the existing remuneration, whichever is less. Depending on the qualification, experience and competency of the candidate, the salary is negotiable. Remuneration payable will be determined as per HR Policy of AIWTDS.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- An advanced construction management/postgraduate diploma in construction management will be preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of the majority of experience in project management of large- scale transport infrastructure projects.
- Experience in large scale construction in port infrastructure and particularly marine sector preferable.
- Experience in World Bank / Externally Aided Projects / Govt. projects will be preferred.
