The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is inviting applications for recruitment against its 02 Cultural Quota for the year 2025-26.

Post Name & No of Posts:
- Singer (Classical/Light Classical): 1 Post
- Instrumental Artist (Saxophone): 1 Post
Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in Level-2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks (aggregate). This requirement is relaxed for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/PwBD candidates.
- Cultural: A Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in the relevant cultural stream (Classical/Light Classical singing or Saxophone) from a Government-recognised institute.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026):
- UR: 18 to 30 years
- OBC: 18 to 33 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 35 years
Application Fee:
- General & Others: ₹500 (₹400 refundable upon appearing for the written exam)
- SC/ST/Ex-S/PwBD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward: ₹250 (fully refundable upon appearing for the written exam)
- Payment must be made via Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of PFA/NF Railway.
