Educational Qualification Requirements:
✅ For Level-3/2 Positions
- Minimum: Passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a government-recognized board/council/institution
✅ For Level-1 Positions
- Minimum: Passed Class 10th (matriculation) OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Important Note: For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum qualification is Class 10th pass. However, the training period will be 3 years unless the candidate possesses ITI qualification in the relevant trade (then it will be 6 months).
Application Fee:
- General Candidates: ₹500
- SC/ST Candidates: ₹250
- Ex-Servicemen: ₹250
- Women Candidates: ₹250
- Minority Community*: ₹250
- Economically Backward Class (EBC)**: ₹250
Partial refund of application fee (after deduction of banking charges) will be provided to candidates who appear for the selection trials.
Fee Exemption Conditions:
*Minority Communities: Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis), and Jains. Must upload a "self-declaration" (Annexure-A) during online application and provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper during document verification.
**Economically Backward Class (EBC): Total family income less than ₹50,000 per annum. Must upload Income Certificate (Annexure-B) issued by competent authorities:
- District Magistrate/Revenue Officer up to Tehsildar level
- Sitting MP of Lok Sabha (for their constituency)
- BPL Card or other Central Government poverty alleviation program certificates
- Izzat MST issued by Railways
- Union Minister (for any person from anywhere in the country)
- Sitting MP of Rajya Sabha (for persons of the District where the MP resides)
