Specialization-wise vacancies:

• Animal Sciences and Biotechnology: 1
• Microbial Biotechnology and Biochemistry: 1

Salary: Rs. 80000/- (Eighty Thousand Fixed) per month. No other allowances are admissible.

Educational Qualification:

• Animal Sciences and Biotechnology: M.Sc. in Life Science (with specialization in Animal Science) / Zoology / Biotechnology. Ph.D. in the area of Animal Sciences with experience in Molecular techniques. Publication in the relevant area.
• Microbial Biotechnology and Biochemistry: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology. Ph.D. in the area of Microbiology/ Biotechnology Publication in the relevant area.

Candidates must also satisfy the following criteria:

• A Ph.D. degree in in the advertised area of subject/specialization with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the preceding Master’s degree in concerned/relevant/allied subject (as given in the previous column) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. The PhD Degree acquired by the candidate should be in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time.
• The Ph.D. degree is from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
