The Office of District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Majuli, Assam has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 07 Case Worker, Counsellor, Office Assistant, Multi Purpose Worker, and Security Guard Vacancies at temporary and contractual basis at the One Stop Centre (OSC), Majuli under "Mission Shakti". Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.

2. Case Worker
No of Posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The case worker should be women, a resident of the local community and possess the following basic qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in law/social work/sociology/social science/Psychology
- Minimum 3 years of experience of working on women related relevant domains in a government or non-government projects/programme. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
2. Counsellor
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The counsellor should be a women, a resident of the local community and possess the following basic qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Psychology/Psychiatry/ neurosciences with a background in the health sector/Social Work/Sociology/.
- Minimum 3 years of experience of working with a government or non-government health project/programme at the District level. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
3. Office Assistant
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Office assistant, preferably ? women having a Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Computer/IT etc.
- Having 3 years’ experience in office documentation and web based reporting formats, video conferencing at state or district level with government or nongovernmental/IT based organization.
3. Multi Purpose Worker
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 14,000/- per month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- MPW, should be a women. High school passed or equivalent will be preferred.
- Any women who is literate with knowledge/experience of working in the relevant domain. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
4. Security Guard
No of Posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 12,000/- per month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- HSLC passed.
- Any person minimum 2 years of experience of working as a security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the District/State level. Preference will be given to retired military/paramilitary personnel also the applicant should be resident of Majuli District.
