Armed Forces Medical Services.Last Date: 03/10/2025.
The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of Medical Officers (Short Service Commission). With 225 vacancies (169 for males, 56 for females).

Qualification: Must have passed final MBBS (Part I & II) in not more than two attempts.
NEET PG: Must have appeared in NEET PG in 2024 or 2025. PG degree holders are exempt from reappearing.
Internship: Must be completed by 31 July 2025.
Emoluments and Benefits:
- Rank: Captain (or equivalent in Navy/Air Force)
- Pay Level: 10B (₹61,300 + MSP ₹15,500 + HRA + NPA + Transport Allowance)
Additional Benefits:
- Dress Allowance: ₹20,000 per year

Age Limit (as on 31 Dec 2025):
- MBBS: Not more than 30 years (born on or after 02 Jan 1996)
- PG Degree: Not more than 35 years (born on or after 02 Jan 1991)
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting: Based on NEET PG percentile converted to marks (out of 200).
- Interview: Conducted in Delhi. Travel allowance provided for first-time candidates.
- Medical Examination: As per AFMS standards.
