1. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical / Chemical)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 3 3-year Diploma in their respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.

Other Criteria of PHED Recruitment 2023
Age Limit:
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023.
The Upper Age Limit is Relaxable:
- By 5 years for SCIST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25 April 2018.
- For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as of 01/01/2023 for the Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SCIST candidates.
- Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January 2019.
Resident-Ship:
- (i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- (ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as a proof of residency along with the application form Or
- (iii) The candidate must produce an Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form.
