The Government of Assam, under the Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship Department has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 93 Junior Instructors in various trades at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state.

- HSLC or equivalent from a recognized board.
- National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
- 1 year of industrial/teaching experience (desirable).
Age Limit:
18–40 years (as of 01-01-2025)
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST, OBC/MOBC, PwD, and ex-servicemen as per the government. norms.
Selection Process:
Phase-I: MCQ-based written test (100 marks) covering:
- Subject Knowledge (60 marks)
- General English (10 marks)
- General Knowledge (15 marks)
- Basic Digital Literacy (15 marks)
Phase-II: Skill Test (50 marks) for shortlisted candidates (1:4 ratio).
