AGVB Officer & Office Assistant Vacancy Details:
1. Office Assistant
No of Posts: 181
2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
No of Posts: 169
3. Officer Scale-II – IT Officer

4. Officer Scale-II – Treasury Manager

Salary Details:
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Approx. ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Officer Scale I: Approx. ₹36,000 – ₹42,000 per month
- Officer Scale II: Approx. ₹48,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Officer Scale III: Approx. ₹55,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Must know Assamese/local language.
- Computer knowledge is preferred.
2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Knowledge of Assamese/local language required.
- Computer knowledge preferred.
- Preference may be given to candidates from Agriculture, IT, Management, Law, Economics, Accountancy, etc.
3. Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre)
- IT Officer: Degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science or IT + 1 year experience.
- Treasury Manager: CA or MBA in Finance + 1 year experience.
Age Limit:
- Office Assistant: Between 18 years and 28 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1998 and later than 01.09.2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1996 and later than 01.09.2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Officer Scale II: Above 21 years - Below 32 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1994 and later than 01.09.2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Officer Scale III: Above 21 years - Below 40 years, i.e., candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.09.1986 and later than 01.09.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process:
- Preliminary Exam (First Screening)
- Main Exam (Final Round for Shortlisted Candidates)
- Interview (For Officer Posts)
