The District Social Welfare Office in Morigaon, Assam, has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of several temporary, contract-based posts at Shakti Sadan. These positions are part of the Mission Shakti scheme.

1. Resident Superintendent
No of Posts: 01
Qualification: A woman with a Master's degree in Law, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or similar fields. She must have at least 5 years of experience working on women's issues in a government or non-government organization. Counselling experience is a plus.
Salary: Rs. 21,000 per month.
2. Office Assistant
No of Posts: 01
Qualification: A Graduate with at least 3 years of experience handling office paperwork and good computer skills.
Salary: Rs. 17,000 per month.
3. Multi-Purpose Staff (MPW)
No of Posts: 01
Qualification: Must be literate with relevant work experience. High school pass is preferred.
Salary: Rs. 10,500 per month.
4. Cook
No of Posts: 01
Qualification: Must be literate with cooking experience. High school pass is preferred.
Salary: Rs. 10,500 per month.
5. Security Guard/Night Guard
No of Posts: 01
Qualification: At least 2 years of experience as a security guard. High school pass is preferred. Retired military or paramilitary personnel are especially encouraged to apply.
Salary: Rs. 9,000 per month.
General Eligibility Criteria:
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- Your age should be between 21 and 40 years as of January 1, 2025. There is age relaxation for candidates from ST(P), ST(H), SC, OBC, and PwD categories.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through a Written Test, a Computer Efficiency Test, and a Personal Interview.
Please Note: These are temporary contract jobs and do not guarantee a permanent government position in the future.
