- Civil Engineer/ Public Health Engineer: 10
- Mechanical Engineer: 16
- Electrical Engineer: 11
- Environmental Engineer: 6
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30, 000/- to 1,10 ,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
Educational Qualification:
Civil/Public Health Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (AICTE recognized) or AMIE (India) in Civil Engg (enrolled on/before 31.05.2013).
Mechanical Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engg (AICTE recognized) or AMIE (India) in Mechanical Engg.
Electrical Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engg (AICTE recognized) or AMIE (India) in Electrical Engg.
Environmental Engg: B.E/B.Tech in Environmental Engg or Civil Engg with Master’s in Environmental Science/Engg (AICTE recognized) or AMIE (India) with Master’s.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 38 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC/MOBC: +3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years (further relaxation for OBC/SC/ST)
- PwBD: +10 years
Residentship:
- (i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- (ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate / Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form.

- SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: 197.20
- BPL/ PwBD: 47.20
