Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month (Fixed)
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized University/Institution:
1. NET (National Eligibility Test) in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences or an equivalent subject recognized by UGC
2. SLET/SET in Geology/Earth Sciences or an equivalent subject
3. Ph.D. in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, or any other allied discipline relevant to the subject, awarded by a recognized University in accordance with applicable UGC Regulations
Candidates should also possess a consistently good academic record and meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by UGC, Government of Assam, and Jagannath Barooah University.

Eligible candidates may attend the walk-in interview on 12 August 2026 (Wednesday) from 10:30 AM onwards at the Office of the Registrar, Jagannath Barooah University, Jorhat, Assam. Candidates must bring their updated CV/Bio-data, original certificates, one set of self-attested photocopies, experience certificates (if applicable), and other relevant testimonials for verification.
