1. Peon
Vacancies: 3 posts (OBC/MOBC: 1, Unreserved: 2)
Pay Scale: ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 + Grade Pay ₹3,900 per month
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class VIII but not HSLC. HSLC-passed candidates are not eligible.
Selection Process: Viva Voce
2. Chowkidar
Vacancies: 1 post (OBC/MOBC)
Pay Scale: ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 + Grade Pay ₹3,900 per month
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class VIII but not HSLC. HSLC-passed candidates are not eligible.
Selection Process: Viva Voce
3. Driver
Vacancies: 1 post (OBC/MOBC)
Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,200 per month
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed HSLC
- Must hold a valid professional driving license for LMV/four-wheeler vehicles for at least the last 5 years
Selection Process: Skill Test followed by Viva Voce
4. Process Server
Vacancies: 1 post (OBC/MOBC)
Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,200 per month
Educational Qualification:
- Must be a graduate in any discipline
- Must have knowledge of the official language of Assam
Selection Process: Written Test followed by Viva Voce
How to Apply:
1. Applications must be submitted in the Standard Form along with:
- Self-attested copies of all educational certificates
- Age proof certificate
- Caste certificate
- Experience certificate (if applicable)
- Character certificate
- Copy of Employment Exchange Registration Card
- 3 recent passport-sized photographs (signed on the back)
- For Driver posts: Copy of a valid driving license
2. Submission Methods:
- By Post: Send to Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Morigaon, VIP Road, Opposite DC Office, Morigaon, Assam-782105
- In Person: Drop the application in the drop box at the Judge's office between 10 AM to 5 PM on working days from 17th October to 10th November 2025
3. Envelope Superscription: Clearly mention the post name on the envelope (e.g., "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON...")
