Bank of India has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 514 Credit Officer vacancies under the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream across three grades: MMGS-II, MMGS-III, and SMGS-IV.

Scale-wise vacancy:
- MMGS-II: 418 posts
- MMGS-III: 60 posts

Eligibility Criteria for BOI Credit Officer Vacancy
For MMGS-II (418 vacancies):
- Age Limit: 25 to 35 years
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as an officer, including 2 years in credit processing (MSME, Commercial, Project Finance, or Mid & Large Credit) in scheduled banks or recognised financial institutions
For MMGS-III (60 vacancies):
- Age Limit: 28 to 38 years
- Educational Qualification: Same graduation requirement as above
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as an officer, with 3 years in relevant credit roles
- Age Limit: 30 to 40 years
- Educational Qualification: Graduation (60% marks) plus either an MBA/PGDBM, a 2-year master’s degree, or professional certification (CA/CFA/CMA-ICWA)
- Experience: Minimum 8 years as an officer, including 5 years in credit processing
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years
- Ex-servicemen & 1984 riot-affected persons: +5 years
Application Fee:
- SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175 (intimation charges only)
- General/OBC/EWS/Others: ₹850 (inclusive of GST)
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on:
- Online Examination (150 marks, 120 minutes) – covering English (qualifying), Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge
- Personal Interview (100 marks)
- Final selection will consider 70% weightage for the online exam (excluding English) and 30% for the interview. A qualifying score is mandatory in both stages.
