Educational Qualifications Required:

Educational requirements vary significantly by position and are detailed in Annexure-I of the official notification.

For IT Positions: Candidates typically need Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or equivalent degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines from AICTE-approved institutions. Specific technical certifications like CISA, CISM, or CISSP are mandatory for certain positions.

For Engineering Positions: Civil and Electrical Engineer posts require relevant engineering degrees in the respective disciplines.

For Specialized Roles: Law Officers need LLB degrees, Finance professionals require CA/ICWA/MBA qualifications, while Economist positions demand relevant postgraduate degrees in Economics.

Percentage Requirements: Unreserved, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates must have a first class (minimum 60 percent) in their qualifying degree. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates need pass class (minimum 55 percent), receiving five percent relaxation.

Candidates with CGPA or OGPA must convert their grades to a percentage as per their university norms and submit conversion certificates during interviews. The fraction of a percentage is ignored, meaning 59.99 percent is treated as less than 60 percent.

Age Criteria and Relaxations:

Age limits vary by position and grade, generally ranging from 22 to 45 years as on October 1, 2025. Substantial age relaxations are provided for reserved categories.

  • SC/ST Candidates: Five years age relaxation above the maximum limit
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Three years relaxation
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: Ten years relaxation
  • Ex-Servicemen: Five years relaxation for those who have completed minimum five years military service
  • 1984 Riot Affected Persons: Five years relaxation

For PwBD candidates belonging to reserved categories, age relaxation is cumulative with one additional category. This means PwBD-SC/ST candidates get 15 years total relaxation, while PwBD-OBC candidates receive 13 years.

Only Matriculation or Higher Secondary certificates from recognized boards are acceptable as age proof. In their absence, birth certificates issued by competent authorities will be accepted.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be through online test and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applicants/eligible candidates.

Application Fee:

  • For SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175 (Intimation charges only)
  • For General, OBC, and EWS Candidates: Rs. 850 (Application fee plus intimation charges)
