Indian Navy has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 260 SSC Officer Vacancies.
The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried men and women for the prestigious Short Service Commission (SSC) for the January 2027 (ST 27) course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.

1. Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro Cadre)
No of Posts: 76 (including 6 for Hydro Cadre)
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Age: Born between 02 Jan 2002 and 01 Jul 2007.
2. Pilot
No of Posts: 25
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Special Note: Candidates with a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) can also apply.

3. Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer)

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Electrical, Electronics, or similar streams.

Selection Process:
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Services Selection Board interview (5-day process).
- Medical Examination: SSB-recommended candidates undergo a stringent medical test.
- Final Merit List: Based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
