The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Cachar, under the Government of Assam, is inviting applications for the position of Field Officer (Disaster Management) on a purely contractual basis.

Post Name: Field Officer (Disaster Management)
Number of Vacancies: 1 (One)
Job Nature: Contractual, initially for 1 year (renewable based on performance)
Location: Revenue Circle Office, Cachar, Silchar (Assam)
Remuneration: ₹28,500 per month (₹22,500 basic + ₹5,000 mobility allowance + ₹1,000 communication charges)
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science, Geology OR
- BE in Civil Engineering / Architecture from a recognized university/institution.
- Minimum 50% marks.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email.
Preferred Qualification: Candidates with a BCA or equivalent computer science course will be preferred.
Age Limit:
21 to 35 years as on the 1st of the applicable month/year.
