Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and the Corporation's guidelines.
Duration: 12 months
Vacancy Overview – Region-wise Seats:
- Eastern Region (101 seats): Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal
- Western Region (136 seats): Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan
- Northern Region (54 seats): Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand
- Southern Region (40 seats): Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu
- South Eastern Region (63 seats): Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana
Available Trades & Educational Qualifications:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Telecom & Instrumentation): 3-year full-time Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation or related fields.
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant HR): Full-time Graduation in any discipline.
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-time B.Com degree.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
- Domestic Data Entry Operator: 12th Pass + Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry.
Age Limit:
- 18–24 years as on 31 January 2026 (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS as per Govt. norms)
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Marks: 50% in qualifying exam (45% for SC/ST/PwBD in reserved seats)
- Mode of Study: Only regular full-time courses are eligible
- Not Eligible: Candidates with higher qualifications like BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, etc.
Selection Process of IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment:
- No written test or interview
- Pure merit-based selection on the percentage of the qualifying exam
- Tie-breaker: Older candidate preferred, then higher Matriculation marks
- Medical fitness as per IOCL standards is mandatory

- Trade Apprentice (Graduate/12th): NAPS Portal
Step 2: Apply via the IOCL Portal at https://plaaps.indianoilpipelines.in/ between 28 Jan – 10 Feb 2026.
Step 3: Complete Part-I and Part-II registration, upload your photo and signature, and submit.
Step 4: Use the same email and mobile number across all portals. Keep your NAPS/NATS registration number handy.
Documents Required:
- 10th marksheet (for DOB proof)
- Caste/Disability/EWS certificate (if applicable)
- All semester-wise mark sheets and the final certificate
- Aadhaar, PAN, bank passbook copy, cancelled cheque
- Medical fitness certificate
