Vacancy Overview:
Total vacancies across 33 Ordnance Factories in multiple states
Trades include: Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, AOCP, COPA, Tailor, Mason and more
Both Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories
State-wise factories include:
- Bihar: Ordnance Factory Nalanda
- Maharashtra: Multiple factories including Ambajhari, Bhandara, Chanda
- Uttar Pradesh: Muradnagar, Kanpur, Shahajanpur
- Madhya Pradesh: Jabalpur, Itarsi, Khamaria
- West Bengal: Ishapore, Dum Dum, Cossipore
- Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Chandigarh
Monthly Stipend:
- Non-ITI (Matriculate): ₹8,200 per month
- Ex-ITI (ITI Passed): ₹9,600 per month
- No other allowances during training period
Educational Qualification:
✅ For Non-ITI Category:
- Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) with minimum 50% aggregate
- Minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science separately
✅ For ITI Category:
- Passed relevant ITI trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute with 50% marks
- Also passed Class 10th with 50% marks
Note: Candidates awaiting results or appearing for exams are NOT eligible.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades)
- Maximum: 35 years for all categories
Selection Process:
- No written test or interview
- Pure merit-based selection
- Merit list prepared separately for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories
✅ For Non-ITI:
- Based on Class 10th percentage (aggregate or best of 5 as per board)
✅ For Ex-ITI:
- Based on average of Class 10th and ITI percentage
✅ Tie-Breaker:
- Older candidate (by date of birth)
- Earlier year of passing Class 10th
- Alphabetical order of name
Application Fee:
- UR & OBC: ₹200 + GST
- SC/ST/Women/PWD/Transgender: ₹100 + GST
- Fee is non-refundable
- Payment via online modes only (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking)
