1. Professor
No of Posts: 18
Age Limit: Up to 58 years
Salary: ₹1,68,900/month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Medical qualification included in the I/II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act 1956
- MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline
- For super specialties: DM/MCh (2/3/5 years recognized course)
- 14 years teaching/research after MD/MS OR 8 years after DM/MCh (2/5 years course) OR 7 years after DM/MCh (3 years course)
2. Additional Professor
No of Posts: 16
Age Limit: Up to 58 years
Salary: ₹1,48,200/month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Medical qualification included in the I/II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to IMC Act 1956
- MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline
- For super specialties: DM/MCh (2/3/5 years recognized course)
- 10 years teaching/research after MD/MS OR 8 years after DM/MCh (2/5 years course) OR 7 years after DM/MCh (3 years course)
3. Associate Professor
No of Posts: 11
Age Limit: Up to 50 years
Salary: ₹1,38,300/month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Medical qualification included in the I/II schedule or Part II of the III schedule to the IMC Act 1956
- MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline
- For super specialties: DM/MCh (2/3/5 years recognized course)
- 6 years teaching/research after MD/MS OR 4 years after DM/MCh (2/5 years course) OR 3 years after DM/MCh (3 years course)
4. Assistant Professor
No of Posts: 19
Age Limit: Up to 50 years
Salary: ₹1,01,500/month
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Medical qualification included in the I/II schedule or Part II of the III schedule of the IMC Act 1956
- MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline
- For super specialties: DM/MCh (2/3/5 years recognized course)
- 3 years teaching/research after MD/MS OR 1 year after DM/MCh (2/5 years course) OR No experience for candidates with 3 years DM/MCh degree
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 05 years.
- OBC: 03 years.
- PwBD (OH-OL & BL): 10 years.
- Government Servant: 5 years (as per DoPT instructions)
